Alec Baldwin (born in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, April 3, 1958) is an Oscar Award-winning American actor who narrated the American version of the fifth and sixth seasons of the television series or Re-narrated season the third and fourth season. He also played Mr. Conductor in the spinoff "Shining Time Station" and "Thomas and The Magic Railroad".
Baldwin has also hosted "Saturday Night Live", guest starred in an episode of "The Simpsons" and appeared in movies such as "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within", "The Cat in the Hat", "Beetlejuice", "Along Came Polly", "Malice", "Cats and Dogs", "Ghosts of Mississippi" and "Miami Blues".
He has three brothers, Stephen, William and Daniel, and two sisters, Jane Sasso and Elizabeth Keuchler. He is the ex-husband of Kim Basinger.
