Diesel 10 is a villianous diesel that appeared in "[[Thomas and The Magic Railroad]]" and "[[Calling All Engines]]". His aim was to destroy the [[North Western Railway]] there. In the movie, he was last seen chasing [[Thomas]] and [[Lady]] when the bridge he was passing over collapsed, dropping him into a coal barge. Not in the series, but Diesel 10 is based on a British Rail (BR) Class 42 diesel-hydraulic engine with an added non-regulation hydraulic claw. In real life, adding in such a claw onto a locomotive would most likely be considered illegal, if it was not approved by government authorities.
